FUTURE PLANS.
TYRO has aggressive future plans to better serve the youth and these include the following:
1. Headquarters
We intend to have Headquarter offices around Kampala-Uganda, and also have plans of buying land where our permanent offices are to be thus, set up conference halls; this will help us to save money which would be spent on rent.
Other regional offices will also be put in place; Eastern, Western and Northern hence strengthening our administration services in such areas.
2. Means of Transport
The organization needs vehicles and motorcycles for easy access especially in the far rural areas hence making movements easy to places where outreaches are to be held.
3. Formation of Awareness Clubs
We wish to organize awareness clubs in institutions of higher learning like universities, colleges and secondary schools in
4. Youth Empowerment Programs
We plan to empower the youth to start up their own income generating projects, like farming, poultry, carpentry even in other areas, this will be done through supporting them with the required knowledge about how to become job creators rather than job seekers. Since knowledge is power, youths’ standards of living will be improved.
5. Work with Mass Media
We also plan to involve media like radio, televisions and news papers, etc. We also plan to write magazines, journals, leaflets, this will help us to sensitize the youth especially concerning HIV/AIDS, its prevention and treatment, through media TYRO services will at least reach most of the youth in the country.
6. Extending TYRO’s Reach
We plan to extend TYRO services to other African countries, where by improving youth awareness on leadership skills, sensitization about HIV/AIDS, wealth creation, gender and domestic violence, community volunteer ism, among others. So that even other countries may benefit from TYRO services.
7. Training and
We also plan to open up training and counseling centers for youth, it will be so much more beneficial since youth are to be counseled, guided and directed on how to live wisely, this will enable us to fight against ignorance and illiteracy among the youth hence saving youth of this generation and future generations.
8. Continued Outreaches Throughout
During the coming two years we will continue to organize and hold outreaches across the country.
9. Continued Fund Raising Effort
During the next two years we will actively be seeking donors and sponsors to help carry on our outreach work. We are hopeful that our work will speak for itself. We are also hoping that our web site can help inform others regarding the work that we are doing.
